Marc Platt was given his big break on Doctor Who: Ghost Light, which heralded a long-time association with one of British televisions most iconic characters. Original audio plays for Big Finish Productions include Loups-Garoux, Spare Parts, Time Reef, and Cradle of the Snake (with Peter Davison as the Doctor), Paper Cuts and Point of Entry (with Colin Baker), Valhalla and Thin Ice (with Sylvester McCoy), An Earthly Child, Relative Dimensions and The Silver Turk (with Paul McGann), Doctor Who Unbound stories Auld Mortality and Storm of Angels (both with Geoffrey Bayldon) and the Doctor Who Companion Chronicles: Frostfire, Mother Russia, The Doll of Death, Quinnis and The Beginning. He has dramatized two stories by former Doctor Who producer Philip Hinchcliffe: The Ghosts of Gralstead and The Devil’s Armada (both with Tom Baker). He has also recently dramatized The Wonderful Wizard of Oz for audio.
He wrote for the original radio drama series, Space 1889: The Siege of Alclyon. Plays for the Blake’s 7 audio series include Flag and Flame, The Sea of Iron and Drones. He is also a published author with several TV tie-in novels and short stories to his name.
