B7 Media has been producing/publishing full-cast audio dramas and audio books since 2007 and is a preferred supplier to BBC Radio and Audible.

Audio dramas produced for BBC Radio 4 include the critically acclaimed dramatisation of Ray Bradbury’s classic fable of Martian colonisation The Martian Chronicles starring Sir Derek Jacobi and Hayley Atwell (‘Best Drama Special’ 2015, New York Festivals International Radio Program Awards) and Sumia Sukkar’s moving story set during the Syrian conflict The Boy from Aleppo who Painted the War, dramatised by Richard Kurti and Bev Doyle (Jungle Book, Going Postal, Kidnapped). Most recently B7 produced Richard Kurti’s new dramatisation of Isaac Asimov’s seminal novel I, Robot starring Hermione Norris and Brendan Coyle

The company is perhaps best known for its epic audio reboot of the cult BBC sci-fi series Blake’s 7. The acclaimed reimagining, featuring Derek Riddell, Colin Salmon and Daniela Nardini (for BBC Radio 4 Extra), is now released by Big Finish as a collectible box set. B7 also co-produced, with Big Finish, the very successful classic Blake’s 7 audio drama series reuniting the original television cast in all-new adventures.

Most recently B7 produced the all-new Dan Dare audio adventure starring Ed Stoppard, Geoff McGivern, Heida Reed and Raad Rawi, based on the popular Eagle comic strips of the 1950s.

Other titles include Once Upon A World, a delightful series of Bible stories for children narrated by John Le Mesurier and Tim Arnold’s Shakespeare-inspired rock concept album Sonnet 155, which provided the basis for SONNET 155 LIVE staged at the internationally renowned Almeida Theatre.
