Paul Kimball founded Redstar Films Limited in 1999. His work as a producer and director includes documentaries for networks including CBC, Vision, Bravo, SCN and Space: The Imagination Station, as well as television series The Classical Now . Other notable documentaries include Soul Searching for the Blues , The New Light Experience of Henry Alline , notes from underground , Denise Djokic: Seven Days Seven Nights , Stanton T. Friedman IS Real, Do You Believe in Majic , Aztec 1948 and A Nite at the Opera , the drama special Caesar and independent features Dying Fall and Tomorrow, Tomorrow, Tomorrow .
Since 2001, Paul has established a reputation as one of Canada's leading UFO researchers, both through his work as an award-winning documentary filmmaker (2005 EBE Awards for Best UFO Film and Best UFO Historical Documentary), and as a researcher, writer, and speaker. He has appeared on television, radio and in person at conferences and symposiums to discuss the UFO phenomenon. He also writes the successful UFO “blog” The Other Side of Truth and is a frequent contributor to the respected UFO Updates .
Paul is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers Society and the Society of Composers Authors and Publishers. He served as President of the Nova Scotia Film and Television Producers Association from 2002 to 2004, and is currently a member of the Film Advisory Committee for the Province of Nova Scotia. He lives and works in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
